JOY

Today had its share of joyful moments...making my son laugh reading him his Puppy Playtime book, the flickering sunlight and autumn leaves at the park, a long hot shower, a hug from the hubby, the smell of soup simmering in the crockpot...but my favorite part of today was slow dancing with the baby in the living room before putting him to bed; fuzzy socks on hardwood, sliding, waltzing and spinning to Al Bowlly singing "Close Your Eyes". Hudson laughed each time I spun him and melted into my arms laying his sweet little freshly bathed head on my shoulder. It seemed all the sweet & simple happy moments of the day, "had been narrowed to one perfect point of rose-colored joy". ~ Oscar Wilde
